The Chicago Park District will host its 41st annual citywide Park Cleanups this year. Volunteers can register to pitch in for Cleanup Day on April 18. Cleanups will take place at multiple parks, so keep an eye on the Park District website for details and mark your calendar for other park happenings, such as the Earth Day Resource Fair at Dvorak on April 11.
5K for Earth Day - Chicago, IL

Humboldt Park is a major hub for Earth Day events in Chicagoland, hosting a full weekend of events, including tree planting and park cleanup. The weekend culminates with the 5K for Earth Day on April 19, offering runners, joggers, and walkers a chance to cross the finish line in unity after experiencing the park's natural beauty on a well-marked course through Humboldt Park.

Evanston Earth Day Clean Up - Evanston, IL

Volunteers will meet up on the north side of Fountain Square in Downtown Evanston to begin picking up trash and debris between noon and 2 p.m. All are welcome, and volunteers will be automatically entered to win a $100 gift card.
